Obituary of Fred E. Starns

Fred E. Starnes, age 75, of Camdenton, MO, passed away on November 12, 2010, at Lake Regional Health System in Osage Beach, MO. He was born August 2, 1935, in St. Joseph, MO. He graduated Savannah High and attended William Jewel College. Following Fred�s retirement from Gardner Denver Corporation as Plant Manager in 1997 in Sedalia, MO, the Starnes returned to St. Joseph, MO, where they built a home on their farm. Fred enjoyed golfing, fishing, hunting, and spending time at the Lake of the Ozarks. He was a member of the St. Joseph Country Club and Moila. They then moved to the Lake in Camdenton, MO, where Fred enjoyed golfing with friends at Lake Valley Country Club. He also enjoyed attending his grandson�s basketball games and spending time with his great grandchildren. He was an active member of Camdenton Bible Baptist Church, where he had made a profession of faith. He is survived by his loving wife Deanna, son Brad and his wife Carol of Quincy, IL, son Scott of St. Joseph, MO, sister Delores Ezzell of Hurst, TX, three grandchildren, Joe and Chris of Quincy, IL, Amber Elarda of St. Joseph, MO, great-grandchildren Madalyn and Camren, and many nieces and nephews.
