Obituary of Billy Wayne Kunkle

Billy Wayne Kunkle, age 88, of Climax Springs, Missouri, passed away Monday, November 29, 2010, at Windsor Estates Care Center, Camdenton, Missouri. Billy was born in Redwood Falls, Minnesota on February 14, 1922, the son of Ernst and Golda Kunkle. The family later moved to Guthrie County, Iowa, where he met and married Eileen Ford on June 4, 1942. Billy worked for the Iowa State Highway Commission for thirty-three years before retiring to Climax Springs. He is preceded in death by his wife of sixty-four years, Eileen, in 2007; his parents; five brothers and one sister. He leaves behind a daughter, Barbara Ely and husband Thomas; three grandchildren, Alan Ely and wife Sherry, Deborah Ely, and Billy Ely and wife Shelli; four great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
