Obituary of Frank Joseph Andres

Frank Joseph Andres, age 79, departed this life on Tuesday, December 7, 2010 at the Missouri Veteran�s Home in Mexico, Missouri. Frank was born August 1, 1931 in St. Louis, Missouri, the son of Joseph A. and Clara F (Schneider) Andres. He attended Conard Grade School in St. Louis and graduated from Kirkwood High School in Kirkwood, Missouri. Frank moved to the Lake of the Ozarks area in 1949, and served his country proudly in the United States Marine Corp from 1952-1954. He was united in marriage on November 22, 1958 to Susan Adele Seiter, and together they had shared the past 52 years until his death. A 61 year resident of the Lake of the Ozarks area, Frank owned and operated several Lake area businesses through the years including Hilltop Motel, Shamrock Motel & Coffee Shop, Lake Cinema in Lake Ozark and Camdenton, The Best Western Lake Chateau Resort & Restaurant and Lamplighter Inn & Restaurant. Frank was a devoted member of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Lake Ozark, since 1958 and a member of the Knights of Columbus, 4th Degree in Lake Ozark. Frank is survived by his loving wife Susan, of the home; Daughter Julie Andres Crocker and husband, Davey, of Eldon, Missouri; Son Captain Michael Joseph Andres, USCG and wife, Mary, of Colorado Springs, Colorado; Son Commander Christopher Joseph Andres, USCG and wife, Lisa, of Stafford, Virginia; Grandchildren, Jennifer Sommers Arnell and husband, Derek, of Gilbert, Arizona, Jacquelyn Sommers Blevins and husband, Lucas, of Lee�s Summit, Missouri, Seaman Ryan Joseph Andres, USCG of Barber�s Pt., Hawaii, Lauren Frances Andres, of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, Riley Kaimana Andres of Stafford, Virginia, and Blaise Hinojosa Andres of Stafford, Virginia; one Great Grandchild, Breckin Wayne Blevins of Lee�s Summit, Missouri along with several other relatives and many friends.
