Obituary of Robert D. Hicks

Robert D. Hicks, age 64, of Camdenton, Missouri, departed this life on Monday, December 20, 2010, at Ozark Health and Rehabilitation Center in Osage Beach, Missouri. Robert was born August 19, 1946 in Springfield, Missouri, the son of Don S. and Agnes M. (Eidson) Hicks. Robert is survived by his mother, Agnes Meads, of the home; four children, Robbie Hicks of the state of Oregon, Shane Hicks and his wife, Stacie, of Kuwait, Ryan Hicks of Kansas City, Missouri and Shawna Hicks of Kansas; eight grandchildren; one brother, Donnie and wife, Toni, of Kansas City, Missouri; along with several other relatives and friends. Robert was a member of the Methodist church in Kansas City, Missouri. He had been an iron worker in the Kansas City area for many years. In his spare time he enjoyed reading, watching game shows, especially Jeopardy, and watching football. He loved to garden and was also a �trivia expert�, which fit perfectly with his motto, �try to learn something new every day�.
