Obituary of Dorothy L. Halloran-Johnson

Dorothy L. Halloran-Johnson, age 54, of Osage Beach, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, January 4, 2011 at Lake Regional Health System, Osage Beach, Missouri. Dorothy was born January 8, 1956 in Lafayette, Indiana, the daughter of Chester and Sarah (Gregg) Crose. She was united in marriage on January 9, 2010 in Osage Beach, to Calvin Johnson. Dorothy worked as a cook at various restaurants through the years. She enjoyed cooking at home for her family and friends and spending time with her family. She was a member of the Elks Lodge in Osage Beach for 8 years. Dorothy is survived by her husband Calvin, of the home; two sons, Jeremy Wallsmith of Frankfort, Indiana and Jacob Myers and wife, Corina, of Frankfort, Indiana; three step-daughters, Lorrie Emery of Douglass, Kansas, Linda Hargis of Troy, Missouri and Louise Tannehill and husband, William, of Troy, Missouri; her mother, Sarah Crose of Frankfort, Indiana; a brother, Jeffrey Crose of Frankfort, Indiana; two sisters, Elizabeth Dill of Russellville, Kentucky and Mary Thomas of Franklin, Kentucky; six grandchildren, eight step-grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren, along with several other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, and one son, Bobby Jones.
