Obituary of Daniel George Wittig

Daniel George Wittig, age 72, of Macks Creek, Missouri passed away Thursday, January 6, 2011 at his residence in Macks Creek. Daniel was born March 23, 1939 in Wisconsin, a son to Thomas and Clara Mildred (Asher)) Wittig. He was united in marriage to Cyndi M Lynch on November 31, 1985, in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. Daniel worked for a paper mill as an electrician. More than anything, his family was the most important thing in his life. Daniel is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Cyndi of the home; four daughters, Dawn Grassfield and her husband Mark of Anamosa, Iowa, Angela Robelia and her husband Steve of Durand, Wisconsin, Robin Brinker and her husband Ron of Prescott, Wisconsin and Laura Henson of Springfield, Missouri; three sons, Mark Wittig and his wife Kami of Pepin Wisconsin, Steve Wittig and his wife Tarah of AuClaire, Wisconsin, and James Henson and his wife Lynnette of Springfield, Missouri; two brothers, Giles Wittig and his wife Laurie of Appleton, Wisconsin and Lynn Wittig and his wife Kathy of Durand, Wisconsin; four sisters, Rita McGahey of Las Vegas, Nevada, Audry Prissell and her husband Dennis of Durand, Wisconsin, Jeanne O�Brien and her husband Patrick of Dallas, Texas and Judith Reetz and her husband Louie of Sand Creek, Wisconsin; ten grandchildren and two great grandchildren, along with several other relatives and friends. Daniel was preceded in death by his parents; sibling twins Michael & Mary Wittig who lived three days and sister, Beverly Wittig, who passed as a small child, and brother-in-law Kevin McGahey.
