Obituary of Ray Snelling

Ray Snelling, age 86, of Osage Beach, Missouri, departed this life on Wednesday, January 12, 2011, at Lake Regional Health System in Osage Beach, Missouri. He was born May 29, 1924, in Zebra, Missouri, the son of Roscoe Edward and Gertie (Jeffries) Snelling. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. Survivors include one niece; Becky Mauzy and husband Jeff, of Osage Beach, Missouri, nephews; Robert Snelling and wife Norma, of Stoutland, Missouri, and John Snelling and wife Berniece, of Colorado. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and a sister-in-law. Ray was a brick layer by trade. In his spare time he enjoyed being outdoors hunting and fishing. He attended services at New Hope Church in Kaiser, Missouri.
