Obituary of Gregg Anthony Ellis

Gregg Anthony Ellis, age 39, of Osage Beach, Missouri, departed this life on Sunday, February 27, 2011 in Kaiser, Missouri. Gregg was born August 30, 1971 in Springfield, Illinois, the son of Bobby Lloyd and Jackie (Knaus) Ellis. Gregg took pride in owning and operating his own business, Gregg�s Cab Service in Osage Beach, Missouri. In his spare time he enjoyed golfing, bowling and playing with his nephew Quinn. He also enjoyed watching sports and was an enthusiastic Dallas Cowboy Fan. More than anything, he loved his family and friends and spending time with them. Gregg is survived by his mother and step-father, Jackie and Marlin �Val� Valent of Osage Beach, Missouri; his sister Alicia Peery and husband, Larry, of Lee�s Summit, Missouri; his step-sisters, Diane Oppis and husband, Rich, of St. Louis, Missouri, and Connie Johnson and husband, Mardy, of St. Louis, Missouri; his nephew Quinn Peery; step-nephews, Jacob Oppis and Matthew Lunte; step-nieces, Megan Lunte, Michelle Lunte and Lauren Oppis; his aunts, Janet Valent and Glenda Heck; his uncle Richard Knaus, along with several cousins and many friends. Gregg was preceded in death by his father.
