Obituary of Nelbert Lee Bobo

Nelbert Lee �Bo� Bobo, age 87, of Osage Beach, Missouri, departed this life on Wednesday March 2, 2011, at Osage Beach Rehabilatation and Health Care Center, Osage Beach, Missouri. He was born April 12, 1923 in Mouston, Wisconsin, the son of Hallie Lee and Ruth Bobo. He was united in marriage on June 7, 1946 in Nodine, Minnesota, to Louisa �Franky� Schroeder and together they had shared 63 years until her death on May 26, 2009. Nelbert had served his country proudly in the United States Army during World War II. Bo worked for Amoco Oil Company (now BP) for 31 years in the Milwaukee area and upon retirement moved to Osage Beach. He was a 30 year member of Hope Lutheran Chapel in Osage Beach, and 30 year member of the Elks Lodge in Osage Beach. Bo was a loving father, grandfather, and a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and accomplishments and will cherish the memories he created for his family and friends. Bo is survived by two grandsons; Jermey Lee Bobo and Christopher Bobo, both of Minnesota; one great-grandson, Kai Bobo; one brother, Lyle Bobo of Wisconsin, along with several other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, his loving wife, �Franky� and a son, Douglas Lee Bobo.
