Obituary of William Jeffries

William �Bill� Jeffries, Sr., age 78, of Camdenton, Missouri, departed this life on Wednesday May 25, 2011 at his residence in Camdenton. Bill was born March 12, 1933 in Montreal, Missouri, the son of Ottie H.and Lora Fredrick Jeffries. He was united in marriage to Jeanette M. Hyatt on September 24, 1955. Together they shared 55 years of adventures. William is survived by his wife Jeanette, of the home, daughter Debra S. Jeffries Valenzuela, son William O. Jeffries, Sr. and son Johnny Linn and wife Thalia, all of the Camdenton area. William leaves 5 grandchildren in the Camdenton area and 1 grandchild in Arizona; 5 great-grandchildren; a sister Patricia Rowe and husband Frank of Kentucky; a step-sister Shirley Jones and husband Warren of Kansas City and a large extensive family. William is preceded in death by his parents Ottie and Lora, and his step-mother Louis Williams Jeffries. William spent 21 years in the United States Air Force, retiring in 1974. He served proudly, was a Vietnam vet and rose to Chief Master Sergeant, the highest NCO rank he could accomplish. He enjoyed camping, fishing and time with his family, especially the grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
