Obituary of Donna Lucille Garrett

Donna Lucille Garrett, age 66, of Eldridge, Missouri, passed away Sunday, June 5, 2011 at her residence in Eldridge. Donna was born September 2, 1944 in Ellensburg, Washington, the daughter of Orville Nelson Snyder and Lena Ann (Winegar) Snyder. She was married on September 16, 1960 to Michael Gene Garrett and together they had shared the past 50 years until her death. Donna had worked as a truck driver. She loved playing BINGO, fishing in the ocean and visiting the beaches in Texas. More than anything, she loved her family dearly and enjoyed spending time with them. Donna is survived by her husband Michael, of the home; one son, Michael Gene Garrett, Jr. of Lincoln, Missouri; one daughter, Kelly Dawn Duerden and husband, Doug, of Eldridge, Missouri; one sister, Brenda Jean Evans of Labette, Kansas; one brother, Orville Wayne Snyder and wife, Wanda, of Belton, Missouri; seven grandchildren, Krystle Lynn Waterman, Franklin Nelson Waterman, Kristopher Aaron Waterman, Michael Gene Garrett III, Magan Ranae Cobb, Makaylyn Danyelle Garrett and Madisyn Eileen Garrett; nine great-grandchildren, Cody Austin Duerden, Keyla Ann Duerden, Edward Mack Lee, Jr., Benjamin Marshall Lee, Gracie Ann Waterman, David Brodie Millsap (Waterman), Haylee Ranae Cobb, Hannah Jo Cobb, and Michael Gene Garrett IV; along with several nieces and nephews. Donna was preceded in death by her parents and on brother, David Wayne Snyder.
