Obituary of Florence Lamb

Florence Lamb, age 93, of Osage Beach, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, July 27, 2011 at Lakeside Meadows in Osage Beach. Florence was born in St Paul, Minnesota on February 6, 1918, the daughter of Walter and Mary Schilling. She was one of nine children, and is survived by her sister, Edna Wilkie of West St. Paul, Minnesota and her brother, Howard Schilling of Roseville, Minnesota, as well as many nieces and nephews. Florence worked for many years for the Carnation Milk Company in California and also worked for the San Jose, California school district for a time. She truly enjoyed the years she lived and worked in California. Florence recently resided at Lakeside Meadows in Osage Beach for several years and had made many close friends there. She was a member of Hope Lutheran Church in Osage Beach and remained very active and involved there.
