Obituary of Charles A. Creach

Charles Albert Creach, Sr., age 71, of Odessa, Missouri, departed this life on Saturday, August 6, 2011 at his residence in Odessa. Charles was born July 23, 1940 in Macks Creek, Missouri, the son of Sherman and Mayme (Mitchell) Creach. He was united in marriage on August 1, 1964 in Climax Springs, Missouri to Gordena Ritter, and together they had shared the past 47 years until his death. Charles worked for many years in a sheet metal factory, and more recently had worked for the Oak Grove School District as a bus driver. Among his interests, he loved antique tractors. He was a loving husband and father, who enjoyed spending time with his family, whom he loved dearly. Charles is survived by his wife Gordena of the home; one son, Charles A. Creach, Jr. and wife, Tanya, of Edwards, Missouri; one daughter, Ronda Tortorelli of Edwards, Missouri; three brothers, Billy Creach and wife, Eva, of Macks Creek, Missouri, Donald Creach and wife, Juanita, of Kingston, Missouri and Ronald Creach of Calhoun, Missouri; five sisters, Edna Kempe of Clinton, Missouri, Minnie Hankins of Windsor, Missouri, Margie Walker of Garden City, Missouri, Wilma Breshears of Kansas City, Missouri, and Judy Carnahan and husband, Jim, of Osceola, Missouri; four grandchildren, James Tortorelli, Tierra Tortorelli, Josh Cook, and Jamie Mathis, along with several other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Jack Creach; and one sister, Edith Furnell.
