Obituary of Mitchell D. Hollenbeck

Mitchell D. �Mitch� Hollenbeck, age 44, of Eldon, Missouri, passed away Thursday, August 18, 2011 in Miller County, Missouri, from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. Mitchell was born May 12, 1967 in Iowa City, Iowa, the son of Gayle and Sally (Sutton) Hollenbeck. He was united in marriage on May 24, 2008 in Eldon, Missouri, to Melissa Medlock. Mitch was a welder by trade and worked in the boat dock industry. He loved motorcycles and going on motorcycle rides. Mitch also enjoyed making things and spending time outdoors. He loved his family dearly and will be missed sorely by them. Mitch is survived by his wife Melissa of the home; one step-son, Danny Wood and one step-daughter, Ashley Wood, both of Eldon, Missouri; his father, Gayle Hollenbeck and wife, Joyce, of Atlissa, Iowa; his mother, Sally Sutton, of Rocky Mount, Missouri; one brother Jay Hollenbeck of Rocky Mount, Missouri; one sister, Brenda James and husband, David, of Fruitland, Iowa; several nieces and nephews; two godchildren along with several other relatives and friends.
