Obituary of Jeffrey Earl Rich

Jeffrey Earl Rich, age 55, of Lexington, Kentucky, departed this life on Monday, August 15, 2011 at his residence in Lexington. Jeffrey was born October 30, 1955 in Springfield, Illinois, the son of Stanley E. and Doris (Stegemann) Rich. Jeffrey graduated from Bloomfield Hills High School in Michigan and went on to graduate from Drake University in Iowa. He worked several years in management and sales with both Wal-Mart and Target Stores and had also worked in the food industry, working for various restaurants and country club/golf courses. Jeffrey loved animals of every kind and enjoyed spending time outdoors. Jeffrey is survived by his mother Doris of Lake Ozark, Missouri; one daughter, Jennifer Werley and husband, Rod, of Arcadia, Michigan; one brother David Rich and wife, Mary, of Lake of the Hills, Illinois; one sister, Sandra Reynolds of Nicholasville, Kentucky; nephews Matthew, Christopher and Joshua and niece Sara, along with several other relatives and friends. Jeffrey was preceded in death by his father, Stanley E. Rich.
