Obituary of Judith H. Long

Judith H. Long, age 72, of Camdenton, Missouri, passed away Sunday, August 28, 2011 at her home in Camdenton. Judith was born March 23, 1939 in Hancock, Michigan, the daughter of Evalt and Eleanor (Leinonen) Lauren. She was united in marriage to Ronald T. Long on August 1, 1959 in Houghton, Michigan and together they had shared the past 52 years until her death. Judith co-owned and operated Employ America with her husband Ron. Judith lived life to its fullest. She loved listening to Dixie Land Jazz music and enjoyed all of the arts and in particular, theatre. Among her many talents, she enjoyed painting and playing the piano. Judith also enjoyed boating and �just driving�, where she had driven in and around 49 of the 50 states. She was a member of the Corvette Club of Lake of the Ozarks and the Jazz Society of Lake of the Ozarks. Judith is survived by her loving husband, Ronald, of the home; two daughters, Joanne Murphy and husband, Kelly, of Olathe, Kansas and Marianne D�Amato and husband, Steve, of Shawnee, Kansas; two sisters, Jeanne Miller and husband, Pat, of Big Sky, Montana and Julie Matthews and husband, Bruce, of Hasslett, Michigan; eight grandchildren as well as several other relatives and many friends. Judith was preceded in death by her mother and father, her step-father, and one daughter, Diane Shireman.
