Obituary of Chance Patton

Chance Patton, formerly of Macks Creek, Missouri, 39 years, 11 months and 28 days, passed from this life on August 28, 2011 at his home in New Bloomfield, Missouri. He was united in marriage on January 12, 1993 in Linn Creek, Missouri to Danette D. Bias. Chance is survived by his wife Danette of the home; his sons, Tony Patton of the home, and Dakota Patton of Chanute, Kansas; his daughters, Cheyenne Patton of Eldorado, Kansas and McKenzie Hilton of Williamsburg, Kansas; his mother Norma Rogers McConnell and step-father, David P. McConnell of Macks Creek, Missouri; his father Jerry Patton of Linn Creek, Missouri; one brother, Shayne Patton of Linn Creek, Missouri; one grandson, John Wesley Buckner; along with several other relatives and many friends. Chance attended schools for welding and trucking and worked as a maintenance technician for elementary schools in New Bloomfield and Fulton. Chance will be remembered for his sense of humor and his love of family and friends. He will be sadly missed by those who knew and loved him.
