Obituary of Mollie Pauline Henson

Mollie Pauline Henson, age 91, of Richland, Missouri, passed from this life on September 8, 2011 at Richland Care Center, Richland, Missouri. Mollie was born on May 1, 1920 in Linn Creek, Missouri the daughter of C.B. and Ellen (Byrd) Shipman. She was united in marriage on November 2, 1940, in Camden County to Warren Henson who preceded her in death. Mollie is survived by her daughters; Barbara Messer, of Montreal, Missouri, Shirley Steward and husband, Delmar, of Richland, Missouri, Millie Shell and husband, Bob, of Richland, Missouri, Rhonda Hughes and husband, Jimmie, of Richland, Missouri, and Claudene Wilson and husband, Butch, of Richland, Missouri; her sons, Melvin Henson, of St. Louis, Missouri, Donald Henson and wife, Maxine, of Richland, Missouri, and John David Henson and companion, Pam, of Crocker, Missouri; one sister, Hazel Hopkins, of Kansas City, Missouri; twenty grandchildren, thirty-five great-grandchildren, several great-great grandchildren, along with several other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, four brothers, two sisters and two grandchildren. Mollie loved gardening and spending time with her family.
