Obituary of Michael Roy Bridgman

Michael Roy Bridgman, age 53, of Linn Creek, Missouri, departed this life Friday, September 16, 2011 at Lake Regional Health System, Osage Beach, Missouri. Michael was born July 30, 1958 in Quincy, Illinois, the son of Roy and Betty (Young) Bridgman. He was united in marriage to Becky Aspeotis on July 15, 1977 in Quincy, Illinois and together they had shared the past 34 years until his death. Michael had served his country proudly in the United States Navy. Michael enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time outdoors. He also enjoyed flying. He was a member of Canopy Church in Camdenton, Missouri. Michael was a loving and devoted husband, father, son, and brother. He is survived by his wife, Becky, of the home; two sons, Chad Bridgman of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and Travis Bridgman of St. Louis, Missouri; one brother, Dan and his wife, Julie, of Quincy, Illinois; four sisters, Patty Smith and husband, Dan, of Tustin, California, Paula Jones of Hamilton, Illinois, Peggy Shannon of Quincy Illinois and Pam Apple of Palmyra, Missouri; his father, Roy Bridgman of Quincy, Illinois, along with several other relatives and many friends. Michael was preceded in death by his mother and one sister.
