Obituary of Donna Beth Glascock

Donna Beth Glascock, age 75, of Camdenton, Missouri, departed this life on Wednesday, September 21, 2011, at Osage Beach Rehabilitation and Care Center in Osage Beach, Missouri. Donna was born May 12, 1936, in Clarksville, Missouri, the daughter of Artie Benjamin. and Marjorie Mabele (Elliott) Eckert. Donna grew up in Clarksville, Missouri where she attended St. Joe School. She was united in marriage to Stephen A. Glascock. Donna had worked most of her life as a bookkeeper for various businesses in Louisiana, Missouri including Ford Garage, Camp Toggs Garment Factory, and Clifford Bank. She then worked as the City Clerk for the City of Clarksville, Missouri. She had been a member of the Elks Club in Louisiana, Missouri and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star where she was Eastern Star Worthy Matron. She was a member of the Elks Club in Greenview, Missouri. Donna was a member of the United Methodist Church, Clarksville, Missouri and a member of the Clarksville Boat Club. Donna was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She loved her family more than anything and enjoyed spending time with them. Donna is survived by her husband Stephen, of the home; three sons, Stephen BC Glascock, of Osage Beach, Missouri, Gerald L. Glascock and wife, Mary, of Columbia, South Carolina and Edward V. Glascock and wife, Cathy, of Fernandina Beach, Florida; one daughter, Kathryne J. Hodits and husband, Rich, of Camdenton, Missouri; two sisters, Dixie Hoaglin and husband, Robert, of Louisiana, Missouri and Bennie Murphy and husband, James, of Clarksville, Missouri; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren, along with several other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Marjorie E. Windmiller and Jacqueline A Bradshaw; one brother, John B. Eckert and several nieces and nephews.
