Obituary of William Donald Mallow

William Donald �Don� Mallow, age 75, of Camdenton, Missouri, departed this life peacefully, on Friday, September 23, 2011 at his son�s home in Wheaton, Illinois, with family at his side. Don was born November 21, 1935 in St. Louis, Missouri, the son of Willis and Trula Mae (Young) Mallow. Don was married to Phyllis (Campbell) for fifty three years. She passed away December 2009. Don served in the US Air Force during peacetime, where he received training as a Dental Technician. He started, owned and managed Mallow Dental Studios Inc. in Independence, Missouri for over twenty five years, and served as President of the Missouri Dental Laboratory Association. He was a member of Optimists and Rotary Clubs. Don retired to Lake of the Ozarks where he enjoyed woodcarving and photography, and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Camdenton where he served as a church deacon and was on the Board of Directors for Pregnancy Help Center. Most important, Don trusted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age. This led to a life of faithfulness to God, wife, children and others. Don is survived by two children, Denise Mashburn of Lee�s Summit, Missouri and Kreg Mallow of Wheaton, Illinois; four grandchildren, and many other relatives and friends.
