Obituary of Oscar Leon Dudley

Oscar Leon Dudley Jr. age 74, of Ulman, Missouri, departed this life on Tuesday, October 18, 2011 at his home in Ulman. Oscar was born October 7, 1937, in Cotton Plant, Arkansas, the son of Oscar Leon Sr. and Mary Cloie (Mezzles) Dudley He was united in marriage November 1981 in Grand Junction, Colorado to Janet Hopkins. Oscar was retired from the U.S. Army after serving over 21 years of service for his country. He served in the Korean Conflict and Vietnam War. He was awarded two Purple Hearts. Oscar was also Co-Chair with his wife Janet of the Osage River PowWow in Eldon, Missouri. He is survived by his wife Janet of the home, three sons, Michael and wife Nina, of Nashville, Tennessee, Dennis and wife Jill of Owensville, Missouri, Richard and wife Jessica, of Ulman, Missouri, two daughters, Jennifer of Clarksville, Tennessee, Brenda and husband Charles, of Ulman, Missouri, one brother, Bobby and wife Nancy, of Clarksville, Tennessee, eight grandchildren, Chelsea, Ellie, Zac, Sophie, Cybil, Cameron, Dylan and Tyler along with several other relatives and friends.
