Obituary of Ruth Elizebeth Denny

Ruth Elizebeth Denny, daughter of Jesse James and Vergie Mary Jackson Webb, was born April 24, 1938 in Decaturville, Missouri. She departed this life Monday, October 31, at Lake Regional Health System, Osage Beach, Missouri, at the age of 73 years, 6 months, 7 days. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother Harold Glen Webb, and one son James Eugene Denny. Survivors include her husband Goss Eugene Denny of the home; one daughter, Debra Elizebeth Welch of Macks Creek, Missouri and her fianc� Ron Burkhart; one son Johnny Wayne Denny of Camdenton, Missouri; five grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Ruth was united in marriage to Goss Eugene Denny on January 19, 1956 in Decaturville, Missouri, and together they had shared 55 years of marriage until her death. Ruth was a life-long resident of Camden County. She was saved at Myetta Baptist Church as a teenager. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, sister, and a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and accomplishments and will treasure the memories she created for her family and friends.
