Obituary of Jeffrey John Tillman
Jeffrey John JT Tillman, age 46, of Sunrise Beach, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, November 9, 2011, in Key West, Florida.
He came into this world December 27, 1964, in St. Louis, Missouri, to John V. and JoAnn M. (Banach) Tillman.
After graduating from Hazelwood Central High School, Jeff continued his education at Baker University and SMSU. Upon receipt of his degree, he relocated to Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri, where he enjoyed a short-lived career with Dominos Pizza. Delivering pizza on the lake was not his life ambition and he soon started his own company. Because of his natural leadership skills, drive for success and the loving guidance of two very special uncles and an undeniably devoted friend, Jeff became the prominent businessman we all knew and loved.
Jeffs passion for life and competitive nature did not end in the office. One never knew whether he would be at a White House Catholic Mens Retreat with his dad, taking a Sunday drive with his mom, sitting in a duck blind with one of his beloved dogs, climbing into a deer stand, hunting bear in the Ukraine, scuba diving in the Caribbean, boating with friends, piloting a plane, running a marathon, driving an Indy car, taking in the scenic US on a Harley or racing a boat. In all aspects of his life, Jeff took risks, had fun and pushed himself to the limit.
He was a generous soul, had a magnetic personality and thrived on his loving relationships with friends and family. Jeff had a soft heart, a creative mind and was an expert entertainer who will be dearly missed.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents Louise and John Banach of St. Louis, Missouri, and Esther and John Tillman of St. Louis, Missouri.
Survivors include his parents, JoAnn and John V. Tillman of St. Louis, Missouri, his sister, Jeanine Springer, and her husband, Dwain, of St. Louis, Missouri, and his brother, Jamie, and his wife, Lori, of Tuscumbia, Missouri, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
