Obituary of Larry Ray Pinkston

Larry Ray �Pinky� Pinkston, age 64, passed away at Lake Regional Health System on Sunday, November 13, 2011. He was born to J.P. and Maudie Pinkston on September 23, 1947 in Dyess Colony, Arkansas. He was united in marriage to Ruby Fay Weaks on April 12, 1979 in Truman, Arkansas. They moved to Camdenton, Missouri in 1979. Pinky worked as a mechanic at West Auto Body for many years. He was a member of Calvary Chapel of Lake Ozark. He loved spending time with his family, fishing and hunting. He is survived by his wife of 32 years; five children, Diana Famer, Tammy James and husband Kenny, William and his wife Jessica, all of Camdenton, and Rick Pinkston and Fayette Shermette, both of Riverside, California; three brothers, Bruce Pinkston of Camdenton, Lester Pinkston of Torrance, California and Billy Pinkston of Lake Isabella, California; ten grandchildren, Jimmy Crews of Argon, Georgia, Shawn Farmer of Camdenton, Bridgit Olive and Hayli Sherman, both of Davis, Oklahoma, Serria Pinkston and soon to be grandson Matthew of Camdenton, Richard Pinkston, Tyler Pinkston, Crystal Pinkston and Lissette Sherman, all of Riverside, California, as well as many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, J.R., James Edward and Morris Pinkston; and one sister, Lucille Kelly.
