Obituary of Joan Bell

Joan Bell, C.S.A.C II., age 78, of Linn Creek, Missouri, departed this life on Thursday, November 17, 2011 at Lake Regional Health System in Osage Beach, Missouri. Joan was born April 9, 1933 in Oak Park, Illinois, the daughter of French and Phyllis (Wills) White. Joan was united in marriage on March 19, 2004 to Vince Mamanella in Linn Creek, Missouri. Joan worked as a counselor for Pathways and had devoted over 25 years of her life to counseling others in need. She was an avid reader and loved working crossword puzzles. Joan enjoyed visiting friends and was blessed to have known Bill W. and Dr. Bob as friends for over 34 years. Joan is survived by her husband Vince, four sons, Scott Bell and wife, Karen, of Chesterfield, Missouri, David Bell and wife, Marina, of Dubai, U.A.E., Peter Bell of Evanston, Illinois and John Bell of St. Louis, Missouri; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, as well as several other relatives and friends, all of whom will miss her greatly. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Jack White and French White, II, and one sister, Jayen Chapin.
