Obituary of Richard Robert Vernon

Richard Robert Vernon, age 62, of Brumley, Missouri, departed this life on Thursday, December 1, 2011 at his residence in Brumley. Richard was born February 12, 1949, in Kansas City, Missouri, the son of Robert and Helen (Prewitt) Vernon. He was united in marriage on November 22, 1980 to Deborah Rodden, in Eldon, Missouri. Richard worked in the landscaping business. He enjoyed computer games, chat rooms, and working with cars. It was said that at age three, he could name the make and model of most cars. Richard was very personable and he truly loved his family. He was a good friend to all and will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him. Richard is survived by his wife, Debbie; one daughter, Barbara Smith and her husband Andy of Waynesville, Missouri, one sister Karen Stith and her husband Fred of Osage Beach, his parents Robert and Helen of Osage Beach, Missouri, along with many relatives and friends.
