Obituary of Willis Farley

Willis E. Farley, Jr., age 85, of Osage Beach, Missouri, passed away on November 28, 2011 at his home. He was born on January 10, 1926 in Garland City, Arkansas the son of Willis E. and Ruby (Birchfield) Farley, Sr. He was united in marriage on November 29, 1949 to Loretta Stark. Willis is survived by his wife Loretta of the home, one niece, four nephews and several cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, and one sister, Wilda. Willis served his country proudly in the Army Air Force during WWII. He retired as a loan officer from Chatham Bank in Chatham, Illinois. Willis also taught for seven years at the Chatham Junior High School and was a member of the Faith Lutheran Church in Branson, Missouri. Willis and Loretta retired to the Lake of the Ozarks in 1987. Graveside Services and burial were held Thursday, December 1, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at Chatham Cemetery in Chatham, Illinois
