Obituary of Evelyn W. Jordan

Evelyn May Weber Jordan, age 83, of Camdenton, MO, passed away Friday, December 23, 2011 at Windsor Estates Care Center in Camdenton. She was born May 1, 1928 in Dorchester Township, Macoupin County, IL, the daughter of the late Otto Weber and Cora Vesper Weber. She married Carl Jordan on June 21, 1952. The lived in St. Louis, IL., Edgemont, IL., O�Fallon, IL., Glendale, OH, Ramsey, NJ, and Wurtsboro, NY prior to retiring to �the Lake� in Camdenton, in the late 1990�s. Evelyn worked as a bookkeeper for Fireguard Sprinkler in New Jersey and enjoyed golf and crafts in her younger years. She was devoted to family and especially proud of her daughter and grandchildren. She was very generous. Once, when her daughter offered her Christmas present ideas by checking several dozen choices of turtlenecks in a catalog, she bought them all. May there by many chocolates and lots of ice cream wherever you are now! She is survived by her beloved husband Carl; daughter Catherine Jordan and husband Fred Dulles and grandchildren Alexandra and Andrew Dulles of Saint Paul, MN; and nieces Sandra Young of Staunton, IL, Polly Gai of Staunton, IL and Christine Klein of St. Louis, MO and their families. She was predeceased in death by her parents, as well as her sister and brother-in-law, Ruth and Dean Oettel. Special thanks to friends Ralph and Dixie Keck for much support during recent transitions.
