Obituary of Olena Sims Terry

Olena Sims Terry, age 94, of Camdenton, Missouri, departed this life on Thursday, February 23, 2012 at her residence in Camdenton. Olena was born November 7, 1917 in Moulton, Alabama, the daughter of Rufus and Maudie Flannagin Sims. Olena was a loving mother who devoted her life to making a wonderful home for her family. She attended a Baptist Church in the Chicago area until her health would not allow. She enjoyed gardening and yard work. Olena is survived by her; son Dwight Terry and his wife, Sue, of Camdenton, Missouri; three grandchildren Tammy Terry of Joliet, Illinois, Sherri Walker of Homer Glen, Illinois and Michele Jank and husband, Dan, of New Lenox, Illinois; three step- grandchildren Peter Jank, Megan Jank and Nick Jank, three great- grandchildren Shea, Heunter and Vada; one sister, Odean Pierce of Moulton, Alabama, along with several other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and one brother.
