Obituary of Alfred Elvido Mallicone

Alfred Elvido Mollicone November 3, 1930 to March 29, 2012. Son of Laura and Gilbert Mollicone. Survived by his wife Virginia Lee Mollicone, daughter, Arra Lynn Murphy, two grandchildren, Hailey and Parker Murphy and a sister, Yola Cecchi. Born of Italian immigrants in the depth of the depression his family moved from New Jersey to southern California where Fred received his education. Following his service to the country in the Korean war as a proud member of the Marine Corps, he became affiliated with Douglas Aircraft. His aerospace career encompassed over 30 years with assignments at Philco Ford, Ford Aeronutronics, Local and Lockheed Martin all of which were located in southern California. He served on the advisory boards of both the Los Angles trade Technical School and the Orange County Community College. As a Reserve Captain in the Orange County Sheriffs Department he led a team of dedicated volunteers for over 28 years, finally retiring in 1995 before his move to the Lake of the Ozarks. In love with the lake and community in which he lived, he became affiliated with the Architectural Committee of the Property Owners Association of Four Seasons. His volunteer service encompassed 12 years. He will be remembered by family and friends for his sense of humor and his sincere desire to serve his community.
