Obituary of Judy Riggins

Judy Riggins, age 67, of Edwards Missouri, died Saturday evening April 14, 2012 at University Hospital in Columbia, Missouri. She had fought a short hard battle with lung cancer. She was surrounded by her family. Judy was born February 21, 1945 to the late Roy Willis and Leveda Eidson in Macks Creek, Missouri. She married the love of her life, Robert Riggins, August 25, 1962 in Camdenton Missouri. They resided mostly around the lake area, moving frequently as houses were built and sold. Judy worked in the retail business for many years after raising her two daughters. She retired and spent her remaining years traveling and spending time with loved ones. Judy enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Judy is survived by her beloved husband of 49 years, Robert Riggins and two daughters Shelly Lewis and husband, Kelly, of Jefferson City Missouri and Nicki Halderman and husband, Kevin, of Montreal Missouri; two granddaughters Christy Schaefer and Allison Halderman; two sisters and two brothers, Ruby James and husband Steve; Jerry Willis and wife Joy; Keith Willis and wife Barb of Macks Creek Missouri and Fern Klemm and husband John of St Mary's Iowa and many nieces and nephews. Judy was preceded in death by her parents Roy and Leveda Willis and her sister Linda Arnold.
