MARGUERITE HIRST, DAUGHTER OF GUS AND GRACE TALLEN WAS BORN, FEBUARY 9, 1931 IN MOBERLY, MISSOURI. SHE WAS CALLED HOME TO JOIN HER HEAVENLY FATHER ON SATURDAY APRIL 14, 2012 AT THE AGE OF 81. SHE WAS PRECEDEED IN DEATH BY HER HUSBAND CHARLES M. HIRST AND HER BROTHER, GEORGE TALLEN AND SON ROGER WILLIS.
MARGUERITE GRADUATED FROM MOBERLY HIGH SCHOOL IN 1948 AND ATTENDED LINDENWOOD COLLEGE IN ST. LOUIS, MO. SHE WAS A LOVING MOTHER AND GRANDMOTHER, DEVOTED FRIEND AND HAD A SERVANT�S HEART. SHE WAS A MEMBER OF P.E.O., WAS AN AVID GOLFER, BRIDGE PLAYER, AND LOVED TO TRAVEL. SHE SERVED ON THE DEACONATE AND AS WORSHIP LEADER AT LAKE OZARK CHRISTIAN CHURCH. SHE LOVED HER VOLUNTEER WORK AT THE HOPE HOUSE IN LAKE OZARK AND THE LIGHTHOUSE MISSION IN CAMDENTON.
SHE IS SURVIVED BY HER SON, ROBERT WILLIS OF CAMDENTON, MO; TWO GRANDSONS, JEFFREY AND BRADLEY WILLIS OF LOS ANGELES, CA. AND THEIR FAMILIES; HER BROTHER, RICHARD TALLEN OF KANSAS CITY, MO AND HIS FAMILY, TWO STEP-SONS, SKIP HIRST OF LEES SUMMIT, MO. AND CLIFF HIRST OF SHELBYVILLE, TENNESSEE AND THEIR FAMILIES, HER LONG TIME COMPANION OF 17 YEARS, HERB PARSONS AND HIS FAMILY, ALSO JEFF HALL AND DAVE GRACE OF FTC MINISTRIES, LIGHTHOUSE MISSION.
