Obituary of Roy Moyers

Roy Allen Moyers, age 78, of Linn Creek, Missouri, formerly of St Louis passed away Wednesday April 18, 2012, at Lake Regional Health System, Osage Beach, Missouri. Roy was born August 29, 1933 in St Louis, Missouri to Carl and Nellie Kemp Moyer. He joined the United States Navy and served his country from 1951 until 1959. He was united in marriage to Carol Fix in St Louis on November 13, 1954. Roy is survived by his beloved wife Carol (Fix) Moyers; dear father of son Roy and wife Donna, son Steve, son Terry and wife DeeDee, daughter Sue Gaffey and husband Jimmy, daughter Kim Carroll and husband Danny, and son Jerry and his wife Melissa. Dear grandfather of eleven and great grandfather of four, brother-in-law and sister-in-law, nieces and nephews and friends. Roy was a US NAVALVeteran, retired Teamster, and an avid Golfer who enjoyed playing with his friends and family. He will be deeply missed by all of his church friends, friends, family, and all those who knew him and loved him.
