Obituary of Hal Roger Duff

Hal Roger Duff, age 69 of Osage Beach Missouri died Saturday April 21, 2012 at home on the Lake of the Ozarks. He was born August 19, 1942 in Springfield, Missouri the son of Raymond Edgar and Nelle Lorraine(Smith) Duff. He graduated from Houston Missouri High School in 1960. He attended college at Southwest Missouri State, Vanderbilt and Gumpton School of Mortuary Science in Nashville. After school he worked in Springfield Missouri as a funeral director and developer. For 3 decades he was the co-owner and manager of Century 21 Lake Realty in Osage Beach and Lake Ozark. He was a member of the Bagnell Dam Association of Realtors and Missouri Association of Realtors. His personal interests included, racing cars, fishing, hunting, spending time in Florida and with his grandchildren and being a cattle rancher. Survivors include his loving partner of 30 years Christine Weber and daughter Pam Shelton of Osage Beach, daughter Julie Merciez and husband Danny of Bartlesville, OK: one brother Dr. Ross Duff and wife Shirley of Columbia, MO; five grandchildren, Whitney Shelton, Zachary Joseph Merciez, Jocelin Leigh Merciez, Mia Danielle Merciez and Barrett William Merciez and numerous cousins, nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Nelle Duff of Houston, MO.
