Obituary of Joseph James Arcobasso

Joseph James Arcobasso Sr. passed on Tuesday, May 8, 2012 at his home in Brumley, Missouri, at the age of 77. Joseph was born September 18, 1934 in St. Louis, Missouri, the son of Domenico and Concetta Arcobasso. He was united in marriage to Shirley Lichtenberg, who passed away in 1997, and later married Delores Rust on February 4, 2002 in Tuscumbia, Missouri. Joe was owner and operator of Domenico�s Italian Restaurant from 1978 until he retired in 1997. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, playing cards, and riding on his tractor. He was a member of the NRA, and a member of the Osage Beach Elks Lodge. Joseph was preceded in death by his parents, Domenico and Concetta Arcobasso; brother Thomas Arcobasso, and late wife, Shirley Lichtenburg. He is survived by his wife, Delores Arcobasso and granddaughter, Chelsea Skrivan, of the home, his brother Frank Arcobasso of Florissant, and his six children, son Joseph Jr. and Diane Arcobasso of Lake Ozark, daughter Debbie Arcobasso of Osage Beach, son Daniel and Sue Arcobasso of St. Charles, daughter Cindy Arcobasso of St. Charles, son Mark and Vickie Arcobasso of Jefferson City, daughter Joanne Arcobasso of St. Charles, his eleven grandchildren, step-daughter Shawn and Ray Christian of Florissant, step-son Robert and Nicole Blechle of St. Peters, and his three step-grandchildren.
