Obituary of Marian E. Rudolph

Marian E. Rudolph, age 92, of Osage Beach, Missouri, departed this life on Thursday, June 14, 2012, at Lake Regional Health System in Osage Beach. Marian was born January 30, 1920 in St. Louis, Missouri, the daughter of Henry W. Kuhlmann and Emma Guendel. She was united in marriage to Albert H. Rudolph on April 11, 1942, sharing 70 years together until his death just 23 days before hers. Albert was a veteran of World War II and was a civil service employee until his retirement. Marian and Albert had two sons, Robert Owen Rudolph and Alan Henry Rudolph. She drove a school bus and then worked for Emerson Electric in St. Louis for 20 years until her retirement at age 58. Marian and Albert moved to Lake of the Ozarks at retirement. She was a volunteer for the Lake Regional Hospital Auxiliary for many years and remained a member until her death. They were both members of the Camden County Historical Society and enjoyed learning about the history of this area. She and Albert both delivered meals for the Meals on Wheels program. Albert was a member of the Lake of the Ozarks Shrine Club and Marian participated extensively in the Shrine activities open to spouses, particularly attending parades. She accompanied her husband to many activities held at the Lake of the Ozarks Elks Lodge 2517 in Osage Beach. She played bridge and liked to do cross-stitch, crochet and knitting. Marian and her husband traveled throughout the United States after retirement and spent many winters at an RV resort in Brownsville, Texas. Marian is survived by her son Robert and wife Carolyn of Queensbury, New York; son Alan and wife Lila of Camdenton, Missouri; grandchildren Robin Reichenbach, Tracy Miles, Alan Rudolph, Darron Rudolph, and Alicia Nagy; step-grandchildren Jonathan and Christopher Stone and ten great-grandchildren.
