Obituary of Kenyard William Rewerts

Kenyard William (Ken) Rewerts, age 69, of Camdenton, Missouri, departed this life on Monday, July 9, 2012 at the Lake Regional Health System in Osage Beach, Missouri. Ken was born March 19, 1943 in Gary, Indiana, the son of Mr. & Mrs. Edward William Rewerts. He attended Merrillville High School in Merrillville, Indiana and graduated in 1961. He graduated from Iowa Wesleyan College, Mt. Pleasant, Iowa in 1965 with a Degree in Business. He continued his education and completed hours towards his Master�s degree. Ken was a Missouri Naturalist, a member of Mason�s Linn Creek Lodge #152, a Sergeant in the Army Reserves, Military Police, and an avid master scuba diver for many years. He resided the last 10 years in Camdenton, Missouri with his wife, beloved dogs, Teddy and Missy, and due to illness retired from Old Kinderhook Resort. Ken is survived by his wife of 47.5 years, Dianne Marie Rewerts, his mother Geraldine Ruth Rewerts, three sons, Kevin Williams Rewerts and wife Suzanne (Ford) of Algonquin, Illinois, Brian Keith Rewerts of Plainfield, Illinois, Shawn Patrick Rewerts and partner Michael Karbowski of Dallas, Texas, two daughters, Michelle Lynn (Rewerts) Caruso and husband Frank of Elmhurst, Illinois, and Jennifer Ann Rewerts and fianc� James Schneider of Elk Grove Village, Illinois; one sister, Lynnette Rewerts-Bowling and husband Bob of LaGrange, Kentucky; one niece Heather Dawn Perkins; and nine beloved grandchildren: Andrew, Adam, Ethan, Alex, Nick, Anthony, Alyssa, Arianna, Ariel along with other relatives and numerous friends. Ken was preceded in death by his father Edward William Rewerts.
