Obituary of Jesse J. Johnson

Jesse J. Johnson, Jr., age 73, of Sunrise Beach, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, August 19, 2012 at his home. He was born on June 7, 1938 in Sacramento, California, a son of the late Jesse J. Sr. and Mary Olive Johnson. On December 24, 1959, he was united in marriage to Barbara Jean Wolfe, who preceded him in death. They resided in Springdale, Arkansas where Jesse was an auto body man for an automobile company. He moved to the Lake of the Ozarks area 32 years ago and resided in Laurie where he established Jesse�s Lawn Service. He also worked for several years washing dishes for the Osage Community Elk�s Lodge #2705 in Laurie. Jesse is survived by his son, Jeffery W. and wife, Kristina Johnson, of Sunrise Beach, Missouri; his daughter Denyse D. and husband, Kelly Donnell of Fayettville, Arkansas. Jesse also raised four other children as his own, Donald E. Tennison, who preceded him in death, Scott S. Tennison, Kristina J. Tennison and Eric R. Tennison, all of Laurie, Missouri; two brothers, Clyde (Sony) Johnson of California and Wendell (Wendi) Johnson who also preceded him in death; fifteen grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and many friends.
