Obituary of Edna Alberta Wilkins

Edna Alberta Wilkins, age 88, of Springfield, Missouri, died Monday, October 1, 2012 at Lakeside Meadows in Osage Beach, Missouri. Edna was born July 12, 1924, in Beardstown, the daughter of Roy and Edna Fanning Davis. She married Charles E. Wilkins on May 3, 1946 in Beardstown. He preceded her in death on April 17, 2003. A daughter, Barbara Harris, also preceded her in death. Edna worked at JoAnn Fabrics in Springfield for 11 years and Sam�s Club for 18 years. She retired in 2008. She is survived by one son, Gregory Wilkins and wife, Doris, of Springfield, Missouri; two daughters, Sharon Hamilton and husband, Charles, of Camdenton, Missouri and Susan Taylor and husband, Ronald, Taylor of Linn Creek, Missouri; three grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; a brother, Marland Davis and wife, Marjorie, of Homestead, Florida. A private graveside service was held.
