Obituary of James E. Ginnings
Reverend James E. Ginnings, age 80, of Lebanon, Missouri, departed this life on Tuesday, October 9, 2012 at Lake Regional Health System in Osage Beach, Missouri.
James was born March 20, 1932 in Camden County, Missouri, the son of John and Gertrude (Martin) Ginnings.
He was married June 2, 1956, in Lebanon, Missouri to Wanda Owens and to this union three children were born.
James served his country proudly in the U.S. Army. He professed his faith and was saved while serving in the Army. James was the pastor of Faith Temple in Lebanon, Missouri for thirteen years and evangelized around the Laclede County area for many years. He also worked in trucking and salvage business. James loved being outdoors where he enjoyed hunting turkey and deer, and loved telling old Army stories and talking on the phone.
James is survived by his wife of 56 years, Wanda, of the home; his daughter, Susan Frank and husband, Lee, of Lebanon, Missouri; his sons John Ginnings and wife, Debbie, of Conway, Missouri and Frank Ginnings and wife, Kayla, of Lebanon, Missouri; five grandchildren, Karla Black and husband Daniel, Melissa Richards and husband RJ, James David Ginnings, Lana Cook and husband Jeremy, and Adam Ginnings; four great-grandchildren; a sister, Betty Stephens and husband, Bill; his sister-in-law, Alice Ginnings, of Camdenton, Missouri along with many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Bob, and an infant sister, Virgie Lee.
