My condolences on Darla's passing. I just found out. We went to school together at Osage. I had a crush on her when I was in school. I lost contact w/ her after I graduated and wondered over the years what had happened to her. So sad to hear.

Darla and I attended Eldon High school together, I always liked Darla but lost touch after school as so many of us do and wondered what had become of her. Today I see her Obituary and am greatly saddened to hear she is gone. She will be greatly missed!

I worked my first 5 years as a police officer and Darla was in dispatch along with me for those years. She was the best at what she did and did not take any form of disrespect from any officer. As a matter of fact i believe i called her maam for my first year...lol. I wish I could have saw you more after you left obpd. Give Kerrigan a hug for me. Peace out until we see each other again.

Darla...the stories I know and tell often. The arguments, the laughs, the comradere. When I embarked on the new adventure with SPD, you ended up eventually becoming the new 925. I missed the "Norman...big boy, umm umm" teases. You were such a wonderful person.
