Obituary of James Stevenson

James (Jim) Stevenson of Osage Beach, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, January 25, 2018 at St. Luke's Hospital in Chesterfield, Missouri.

Jim is the son of James and Frances Stevenson, born on October 12, 1944, in St. Louis, Missouri.

On May 20, 1995, Jim was united in marriage to Sarah Stevenson (née Houser), they shared 22 wonderful years of marriage.

Jim owned and operated Unique & Art Lace Cleaners in St. Louis until his retirement in 2004, but continued to do work via mail up until 2016.

Jim is survived by his wife Sarah; son Jim and fiancé Teresa, daughter Chrissie, son Kurt and daughter-in-law Cheri; grandchildren Jennie, Kim, Jake and Brock; great-grandchildren Hallie, MacKenzie, Sofia, Damian, Tanner and Jackson; sister Shirley, father-in-law Fred, sister-in-law Sally, nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents, brother Jack, sister-in-law Aileen, and brother-in-law Richard.

A private service will be held at Osage Beach, Missouri followed by a Celebration of Life to be held in St. Louis in February.

In lieu of flowers donations are suggested to: Wounded Warrior Project, Lake Regional Cancer Center or a charity of choice.
