Obituary of Donald Eugene Emory
Donald Eugene “Red” Emory, age 84, of Camdenton, Missouri passed away on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at Lake Regional Health System, Osage Beach, Missouri.
Red was born on July 15, 1933 in Pueblo, Colorado. He was the son of William Merrille and Margaret Elouise (Crawford) Emory.
Red served his country proudly in the United States Army.
On November 12, 1955 in St. Louis, Missouri, Red was joined in marriage to Barbara Crandall. They shared over 62 years of marriage together at the time of his death.
He is survived by his wife Barbara; nieces and nephews, Judy Obert, Carol Kloeppel, Linda Moreland, Mike Gerling, Mark Emory and Laura Leavitt, all of St. Louis, Missouri; also surviving are two brothers in law Thomas Crandall and Richard Crandall; and nephews Mike Crandall and Robert Crandall all from Florida.
Red was preceded in death by his two sons, Steven and Jeff; his parents Harvey and Margaret Solberger; sister Betty Gerling and brother William Emory.
In honor of Red’s request, his body is being donated to the School of Medicine, University of Missouri-Columbia in Columbia, Missouri.
