Obituary of Cynthia Rae Westhoff

Cynthia Rae Westhoff, age 59, of Osage Beach, Missouri, passed away Thursday, July 5, 2018 at her home.

Cynthia was born September 14, 1958 in Cameron, Missouri.  She was the daughter of Jim and Mary Ellen (Goe) Henry.

On November 20, 1982 in Osage Beach, Missouri,  Cynthia was united in marriage to Doug Westhoff.  They had shared over 35 years together as husband and wife at the time of her death.  Doug survives at their home.

Cynthia worked as a bookkeeper for Vaughan Pools in Osage Beach for the past 16 years, and prior to that had managed the Corningware Outlet Store for 11 years.  In her spare time Cynthia enjoyed working on cross stitch projects.  Her greatest joy in life was her family, especially her grandchildren who always came first.

Aside from her husband Doug, Cynthia is survived by her sons Brock Westhoff and wife, Jodie, of Osage Beach, Missouri and Patrick Westhoff of Brumley, Missouri; her stepson Christopher Westhoff and wife, Jennifer, of Ozark, Missouri; and her beloved grandchildren Quenton, Kassee, Emma, Ayden, Izzy, and Jacob.

Cynthia is also survived by her mother Mary Ellen Goe of Osage Beach, Missouri; her father Jim Henry of Holdridge, Nebraska; and one sister Genella Fernow and husband, Rodney, of Fargo, North Dakota; along with numerous other relatives and friends.

Services will be held Saturday, July 7, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Hedges-Scott Funeral Home in Osage Beach, Missouri.  The family will welcome friends for visitation from 1:00-2:00 pm prior to services at the funeral home.

Interment will follow at Lake Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Osage Beach, Missouri.
