Obituary of Robert E. Reiske, Jr.
Robert E. “Bob” Reiske, Jr., age 64, of Rocky Mount, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, June 16, 2021 at Lake Regional Health System in Osage Beach, Missouri. He was born January 22, 1957 in St. Louis, Missouri, the son of Robert E. Sr., and Joan (Bofinger) Reiske.
Bob was united in marriage to Amy Carter, November 14, 2009 in Lake Ozark, Missouri. They had shared over 11 years together as husband and wife at the time of his death.
For much of his recent working life, Bob was a successful real estate developer and was a member of the Bagnell Dam Realtor Association in Lake Ozark, Missouri. He was a meat cutter for Schnuck's in the Saint Louis area for over 20 years and had a sausage hobby on the side. He had his own secret recipe that his family and friends believed was the best sausage ever! He carried with him a strong work ethic and always finished anything he started. Although Bob never served in the military, he had the utmost passion and respect for those who did and his love for our country was evident throughout his life. Bob also loved bluegrass music and was an accomplished guitarist.
Bob was a loving and devoted husband and a wonderful father and grandfather to his children and their families. His legacy will live on in their lives.
Bob is survived by his wife, Amy; his children, Ben Reiske and wife Barb, of Troy, Missouri, Adam Reiske and wife, Amy, of Wentzville, Missouri, Joshua Elliott and wife, Chelsea, of Dorr, Michigan, Kristin Sneed and husband, Mark, of Garden City, Missouri, and Elizabeth Elliott of Grand Rapids, Michigan; eleven grandchildren, Chase, Kaden, Kendal, Mason, Boone, Ryland, Harleigh, Lacey, Logan, Jaedon, and Keyannah; his father, Robert Reiske, Sr., of Valley Park, Missouri and his sister, Becky Reiske of Valley Park, Missouri.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Joan.
Services will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, June 26, 2021 at Hedges-Scott Funeral Home in Camdenton, Missouri. The family will welcome friends for visitation from 10:00 am-12:00 pm prior to services at the funeral home.
Memorial donations are suggested to Tunnel to Tower and may be left at the funeral home.
