Obituary of David Lee Manning

David Lee Manning, retired resident of Osage Beach, Missouri for the past 5 years, lived in Kansas for 30 years before relocating to Lake of the Ozarks.

 

David is survived by his wife, LeVeta K Manning; 4 step-children, Michelle Layne, Mike Peterson, Missy Charst and Mindy Johnson; 9 step-grandchildren; his son, Gregory Manning; his sister Darlene and brother-in-law Steve Rapier; a niece, Lisa Duncan and nephew, Mark Turner.

 

David was born in Jet, Oklahoma June 16, 1939 to Darrel and Olive Manning.  He attended East High School in Wichita, Kansas.  He was employed by  Boeing Air Craft Corporation for many years and worked as a tool grinder in the 80's.   David lived in Olathe, Kansas for 30 years and worked  at Seal Rite from 1995-2010.

 

David loved playing cards with family, fishing, and playing volleyball with his cousins. He loved singing at his church and singing for residents at area nursing homes. He was a devoted Christian and met his goal Saturday, June 12, 2021 and is with his Lord.

 

Services will be held Sunday, July 25 immediately follow morning church service at Osage Beach First Assembly of God, Osage Beach, Missouri.
