Obituary of Donald Edwin Branham, III

Donald Edwin Branham, III (Buck), was born August 22, 1961 to Donald E. Branham, Jr. and Martha Ross Branham in Springfield, Missouri.  He departed this life June 17, 2021 at his home in Camdenton, Missouri.  He graduated from Camdenton High School in 1979.  He attended Southwest Missouri State and Mizzou.

 

On October 5, 1985, Buck was united in marriage to Christine Joann Mitchell in Lexington, Missouri.  Together they moved to Overland Park, Kansas where they started their family and lived for 35+ years.  He worked for Corbion in shipping and receiving for roughly 30 years.

 

In 2019, Buck and Christine moved to Camdenton, Missouri, where he lived his remaining years.

 

Buck was a great man.  He loved music (saxophone especially), singing, dancing, laughing, canoeing, sports, camping, nature, bocce ball, frisbee, and his friends and family.  He and Christine enjoyed bird watching and gazing at sunsets and the night time sky.  Buck would lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He touched the lives of so many, old and young.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Don and Martha Branham and brother-in-law, Wayne Zimmerman.

 

He is survived by wife Christine Branham; sister, Kathy Zimmerman; brother, David Branham (Sondra); sons, Mitchell Branham (Monica) and Thomas; nieces, nephews, and grand nieces whom he loved dearly.
