Obituary of Dennis E. Cooper Jr.

Dennis E. Cooper Jr., age 54, of Brumley, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, July 6, 2021 at Lake Regional Health System in Osage Beach, Missouri.

Dennis was born November 15, 1966 in Mexico, Missouri, the son of Dennis E. Cooper Sr. and Karen Diane Wall.

On June 30, 1990, Dennis was united in marriage to Tammy Robinett in Brumley, Missouri. They shared 31 years of marriage at the time of his passing.

Dennis had many hobbies including farming, fishing, hunting, and woodworking. He enjoyed working on SQ body Chevy trucks. He was a heavy machine operator for many years. He loved his family dearly and took great pride that he was able to help build his home and his children’s homes.

Dennis is survived by his wife Tammy Cooper of the home; son Dillon Cooper (Kailyn) of Brumley, Missouri; daughter Elizabeth Cooper (Cameron Hendricks) of Brumley, Missouri; 3 grandchildren Braxton, Caroline, and Melanie; and brother William Douglas Cooper of Brumley, Missouri.

Dennis was preceded in death by his parents and sister Karen Cooper.

Funeral services will be held Friday, July 9, 2021 at 7:30 pm at Hedges-Scott Funeral Home in Osage Beach, Missouri with Connie Wickham officiating. The family will welcome friends for visitation from 6:00 – 7:30 pm prior to services at the funeral home.

Burial will be held at a later date at Gott Cemetery in Brumley, Missouri.
