Obituary of Jane Kathryn Sanderson

Jane Kathryn Sanderson was born June 17, 1934, to Evangeline Myers and Nobert  Bettinger in Toledo, Ohio. She departed this life Thursday, July 15, 2021 at Lake Regional Health System in Osage Beach, Missouri, with her family by her side.

As a child she moved to Anaheim, California with her family. There she met Gormley (Sandy) Sanderson. They married on September 13, 1952 in Orange, California. To this marriage four children were born: Barbara, David, Robert, and Kathy. They moved to Roswell, New Mexico until 1954 when they returned to Anaheim. In 1962 they moved to Marysville, California until they retired in 1993 to Camdenton, Missouri.

Jane was a housewife while the children were being raised. After,  she was the secretary for St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Marysville, California. She worked at Great Southern Bank and Bonworth’s in Osage Beach, Missouri.

Jane attended and supported St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Camdenton, Missouri. Jane enjoyed Bingo, Pokeno, quilting, camping, quick trips to Booneville, and spending time with family.

Jane was preceded in death by her parents;  her husband Sandy; her brother James and his wife Pat; her brother-in-law Dale; and her son, David.

Jane is survived by her daughter, Barbara York and husband Don of El Dorado Springs, Missouri; son Robert Sanderson of Macks Creek, Missouri; and daughter Kathy Jeffery of Camdenton, Missouri; sister Jeanette Myers of Virginia Beach, Virginia; ten grandchildren: Donny, Kim, Todd, Daniel, Rick, Jaymie, Stephanie, Karee, John, and Janelle; eighteen great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild with three on the way.

Services will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Camdenton, Missouri.
